We had a great stay at the Garth Dderwen! We could really tell Chris and Julie have put their heart and soul into curating this lovely guest house and do their best to make you feel welcome during your stay. They cooked a lovely breakfast for us every morning and provided us with great tips for our stay. Our room was very cosy, the bed was particularly comfy and the location was perfect for direct access to our favourite village in North Wales! We had a very relaxing Christmassy stay with the local Christmas market being on that weekend.

Had the pleasure of staying at this lovely guesthouse for 3 nights. Cosy comfortable rooms with all amenities, superb breakfast and, while within just two minutes walk from all amenities (station, shops, restaurants), still far enough from the main road so as not to be bothered by traffic noise. Chris & Julie are the perfect hosts doing everything to make you feel welcome and Chris has expert knowledge on all Betws-Y-Coed and surroundings has to offer. I truly recommend a stay here.

Such a great little b&b. Chris and Julie are great host with plenty of hints and tips to help you make the most of your time there. They’ve added some nice little touches to make the stay more comfortable. For example fresh milk in a fridge in the dining room and room in that fridge for any drinks you might want to keep cold. There’s a living room with a TV and the dining room can be used if you want to eat delicious take away pizza from Hangin pizza in doors on a cold evening. The room was great and had everything you’d need. Comfortable bed and a clean well appointed bathroom. Would not hesitate in returning.

An excellent guest house in the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed. A nice quiet Victorian house, kept spick and span by Chris and Julie who obviously love what they do and are so welcoming. Breakfast is a treat, and a great start to the day. The information given by the hosts is so informative. They both know the walks and rides to take, and are happy to offer tips and share their local (and not so local) knowledge, without being overbearing. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable - what more could you ask? A special thanks to Chris for the loan of his foot pump after finding a flat tyre on departure morning :-) See you again!

We had a wonderful stay here at this beautiful place in Betws-y-coed. Right at the centre of town, everything was readily accessible on foot. The hosts were incredibly friendly, always ready for a chat and had many good recommendations for trips, no matter if hiking trips on foot or town visits in the area. Busses and trains managed to bring us there and back, no problems. The breakfast at the inn had a good selection of typical choices, special about it: self-made bread and (delicious) eggs from the farm across. It was freshly prepared between 8:00 - 9:00 in the morning, wishes can be placed as well. The room was cosy, clean and neatly decorated. We were very pleased with our stay here! Definitely a recommendation.

My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location of the property could not have been more perfect. A central location with local amenities just a stones throw away. Stunning village, wonderful restaurants and the guest house/hotel was absolutely beautiful. Chris and Julie were fantastic hosts, offering a friendly and professional service from start to finish. The breakfast was lovely and the room very homely and comfortable. If you are looking for the perfect getaway. This is the place to go. Highly recommended.

Good variety of breakfast choices are included.
